A Nemzetközi Rövidek programba 38 országból érkeztek nevezések, melyek közül nemzetközi zsűri választja ki és adja át a pénzdíjjal járó Legjobb Táncfilm Díjat, a nézők pedig szavazhatnak a Közönségdíjas filmre.

Martin Luther King-nek volt egy álma: minden ember egyenlőnek lett teremtve és nem a bőrük színe, hanem a jellemük alapján kell, hogy megítéljük őket. Ez az álom nem vált valóra: még sok a tennivaló, hogy elfogadjuk egymást, a másként gondolkodót, a menekültet, a nyomorból kikecmergőt. Férfiak, nők és gyermekeik álma egy új élet egy olyan világban, mely nem fogadja be őket.

Ezek a szavak még ma is aktuálisak, mert az álom még mindig nem teljesült be. A film a menekültek utazását és átélt hányadtatásait jeleníti meg: szomjúság, éhség, kínzás, halál és remény.

The video dance is inspired by the principles of Martin Luther King who had a dream: that all men could be equal and that people should not be judged by the color of the skin but by the content of their personality. The dream has not yet been accomplished: so much still needs to be done to accept the other, the different, the refugee, the one fleeing from misery, the civil war to arrive after so many sacrifices and so much pain on our lands considered as a new opportunity for live. The dream of these men and women with their children is a new life in a world where they are not yet fully accepted.
Years later we realize how these words can be current today because this dream has not yet been accomplished and we are experiencing it in the first person with the problem of immigration.
The performance tells the journey experienced by immigrants and all the difficulties encountered: thirst, hunger, torture, death and hope.

A Rosetta 12 éven át szelte az univerzum végtelen magányát, hogy elérje a 67P/Churyumov – Gerasimenko üstököst. Ütközés lesz, az emberi test gravitációs hullámokat kibocsájtva összehúzódik, majd kinyílik. Egy magányos út űr-morajlása, mert leginkább a magányosság maga a feltérképezetlen testhez vezető út.

The corner of the room remains microscopic moving as much as human construction is directed to the beginning of the birth of everything. Rosette crosses for 12 years the eternal loneliness of the universe to end up to the errant comet 67P/Churyumov –Gerasimenko. There will be a crash there as the human body is retracted and expanded emitting gravitational waves, in other words, space whispers of a solitary orbit as solitary is almost always the route to an uncharted body.

Az AS60 96fps-os sebességgel (lassított felvétel) készült, miközben az operatőr folyamatosan jobbra-balra mozgott. A végeredmény egy izgalmas kísérlet lett. A felvételen ejtett kisebb változtatásokon túl utólagos vizuális effektet nem használtak a készítők.

AS60 shoot at 96fps (slow motion) while camera person swinging the camera side to side constantly. It came out as the result of the experimentation in the collaborative/choreographic process with dancer and camera person. There is no visual effect involved in editing process except little modification of the video footage.

Mit kell lerombolnunk, hogy újat építsünk? És az új jobb lesz, mint a régi? Hogyan szakítsunk a régivel (jelen esetben a szerkezet formájával), azzal, ami meggátol az egyén és a társadalom fejlődésében? Erőszakkal lépjünk fel? Romboljunk, ahelyett, hogy megvárnánk, amíg az a valami elöregszik, rommá válik és magától eltűnik? És hogyan romboljunk, úgy, hogy ami még hasznos, azt ne rántsa magával? És mi, vagy ki dönti el, hogy mi a lerombolandó?

What do we have to demolish in order to build something new? And will the one created in place of the old be better? How should we cut ties with the “old” (which, in this case, takes the form of structures), from whatever is preventing us from developing individually and socially? Maybe it has to be done in a violent manner, like a demolition, instead of waiting till it becomes old, turns into ruins and sinks into itself? And how should this “demolition” be conducted, so that it doesn’t also carry away whatever useful exists? And what and who determines what and which ones should be demolished?

‘room’ is a dance film that explores the dynamics and relationship between two bodies that occupy a particular environment with a specific vocabulary drawing from classical movement. Out of this is born a nuanced narrative as the two bodies on screen strive for synchronicity. The dynamics of their nature, the space they occupy, the spaces in between and the room that defines them dictates the nature of their interaction.

BOOKANIMA, a compound word of ‘Book’ and ‘Anima’, is the project to give book new cinematic life. It aims ‘Watching Book’ in the third scope between Book and Cinema through Locomotion based on Chronophotography. Ballet-Korean dance-Modern dance-Jazz dance-Aerial Silk-Tap dance-Aerobic-Disco-Break dance-Hip hop-Social dance.

Everyone is a Günni. Günni is a description of failure. Moments in which we miss something and make mistakes. To accept our Günni-identity and to treat it with humor is the goal. The Günni is recognized in the moment of failure and at best is to be learned about the next time.
